When I'm fencing and encounter bear scat I don't usually get down to sniff it to see if it smells like pepper. Smile

When V_Key was little and we went into the Back Country I put a little bell on her cinch to tell the bear to look-out for her.

It also worked as a GPS for her Before GPS's (her peace of mind and mine)
I could hear that Tiny Bell for Miles in the mountains. I Loved to let her, her horse and her Pack Pony get way out front and break trail. The LOOKS she'd get from Hikers, Fisherman.
"Little 5 year old gal with Horse and Pack Horse."

Was a handy GPS around the Home Ranch also. You get to know the Walk, Trot, Lop, TROUBLE rings _ Handy for a Working Dads Peace of Mind _ lets you ears do the Baby Settin.
