Naa... they actually attract attention. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes We get Sunday drivers going by every week in the summer.

A BEWARE OF BULL sign would work well though! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Like that old joke about the sign in the pasture that says "Stay out unless you can cross this pasture in less than one minute, because that's how fast the bull can do it." Wink

You folks that have been cussing border collie dogs must not have ever had a good one or one that is trained. You can't go get one of these dogs and not put the time in on them that it takes to make them useful. It is a disservice to them as well as yourself. I have had these dogs all my life and would'nt trade for one. I have used them on everything from ducks to bucking bulls.

I agree that the Border Collie is a super dog! My son has a half border collie, and she's as smart as they come. A natural cattle dog too, but we really have to watch to make sure she doesn't get herself in a bind around here.

It would be a real waste of a good dog for us to have a border collie. I realize just how smart they are, but they really really want to work, and there is no margin for error with donkeys around.

Much safer to have a lower drive dog. Very Happy

The bull operation I was around a few years ago used donkies to break the bulls to lead. Colts too.
