I'm fixin to show my horse knowledge, but I need to know.I'm planning on wintering 2 of my horses on mostly 10% feed and hay with a couple of trace mineral blocks out at all times.Do you think that will be enough for them?or will I need some more feed for them? I'm free feeding hay in the form of very good round bales.Help Me Please.

Frank I do not know what else you could do. My two horses are fed the same as yours. They are healthy. Make sure they have plenty of clean water available. I'm also in Alabama.

I would thank that a horse not working and just standing in a pasture in Alabama should do fine on just good hay.
