I've seen it.

I wouldn't let a 12 year old watch it mainly because it's so darn depressing. It's not sexually graphic, but it's sure not a happy subject for a kid to watch, especially with one of the two main characters being beaten to death at the end. It contains messages, but they are not messages intended for children.

Take them to see Harry Potter instead. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
