| Good pictures! The neat thing is that at least they have somewhere to swim this year.

| The water holes are filled with ducks this year.. Sea gulls were here for a while but moved on... I wonder if the Pelicans are down on the Illinois River yet.. Lots of water around here this year.. I always enjoy the random birds that show up on the place. We usually have a few Cattle egrets come in for a while but it has been a couple years. Always thought they were neat.. Have seens ome shovelnosed ducks recently as well instead of just the typical pintails, Mallards and Geese that we usually have (Mostly geese and Mallards)... Even had a wood duck fly out of a tree in our yard the other day.. Don't know what he was doing there but was cool to see... Used to be tons of wate fowl aroundhere, or so I am told, but than they drained the lowgrounds for farm ground and now not so many ducks.. Oh well, we could have the ducks back but than we couldn't grow anything and would probably all catch maleria..

Don't make me get out of this chair young lady
Now I may be a coot but I am not so sure I am an old one yet... Some would call me young even but I guess compared to a little whipper snapper such as you I might be considered "old"... Heck, 30+ when I was 16 seemed darn old...
Can't say I ahve any pictures of an old coot in a speedo.. That would be the bird variety or person variety... That being said I ate with one down in florida once.. Well, tried ot eat but lets just say the appitite wasn't there... Ahh, Ira was a nice old guy but really should have dressed a bit when my wife, her dad, and I had lunch with him... Great, there is a memory I almost had purged from my mind.

Well ok,,,so Wilburs hut isn't the best place on yur place..but I'm gettin desperate! Ya just never know when I might show up on your doorstep with my coveralls on...lol Thanks for the extra pillow though...
Ya know I've always wondered why we get seagulls and pelicans here in the sandhills too...I think mother nature is playing some kind of trick on their migrating habits..lol The pelicans haven't shown up yet, it's got to be a little warmer for them. Maybe the seagulls don't know they're suppose to hang out by an ocean???lol
