THis is my first winter in Nebraska, and this is the truth if I ever told it. One of the stores on Main Street in Gordon was having a sidewalk sale, and the bank said 34 degrees. About a dozen or more years ago I was staying in Valentine at the Raine (I liked Valentine before the hotel chains came in and I still stay at the Raine), and Doug Krause came by and picked me up about 6am. It was -5 and Doug went on about it being so nice out. About Valentine's Day this year it was -28 - never before been in that kind of cold. My unsympathetic big brother sez what the $#@% did you expect?
This is the nicest March I've ever experianced, I hope this is normal.
