LOL..now OD you know I never back down . But, not sure they called that fire weed or not.
That was a College Art Class project along with the Psychology Dept. The house was just a abandoned farm house on the Highway here. They went in and cleared all the brush in front of it...did this to the house, then hung a ballot/oppinion box on the gate with a Welcome sign. You would not believe how many trucks, cars and people from all over the U.S. Stopped and questioned it. The art students did it for a interest, and a grade on creativity, the pys class used it as I suppose a theory of thoughts. But, from what the kid that lives here told me, said that they got remarks from WHAT THE H@$$ IS IT? to WHAT IS THE POINT? to COOL ART!! even got donations in the box, which they never asked for...lol it was just a experiment of sorts. It brought attention, and made people question. Especially for this poor little podunk community, we are slow country folks..dont ya know? EAST TEXA
Now what we call it here is that FUGLY HOUSE! but, it was fun to watch people and their reactions to it. That was done over a year ago.
So..Alabama there is your answer as to why? Just some college kids seeing what reaction they could get.
So hope you all enjoy the tale of why...I have laughed at it for awhile now..you should see some of the faces of people that I take up there to see it. It really is funny.

I did not have any idea whose photo it was. I don't know who any of the entries are unless I enter them myself or someone sends me one to
enter and I pass it along.
When you enter something "out of the box" you are going to get questions or comments about it. Simple.

Some neat photo's this time. I really had expected more of the wild fire shots than what we got. Since that's what prompted this catagory to be added to the contest. But still some perdy neat photo's of fire.
My entry was when we tore down the old wood corrals, and pushed it all up in a pile and burned it. Along with the grass lot fence ....... that's why there's barbwire in the fire.
