| This little hardknocker is doing great this meet! Just pulled in another second against some gritty fillies. Apparently she got slammed coming out of the gate and came to the front. I watched the video a couple times and havent seen the rub, but apparently she got bumped really good. Just like her poppa as far as heart, but they look totally different! He's a huge stride monster 16.3 and she is this itty bitty thing under 15.2! Mr.T is definately getting some carrots tonight!

| Thanks Easty, unfortunately this is yet another one that is not owned by our farm... Drat... At least we get our stallion bonuses when the kids win, one of these days I am going to have to run one of my own... I just cant justify the day money to get one going. Rates start at 45.00 per day... That without Jock fees, jugging, vet etc.. gets pretty crazy. Minimum of 25,000 to run a horse and that is if everything goes well....

Yep it has really gotten ridiculous. I grew up in a running barn, and few of the trainers I knew then have just dropped out of it all. Here now they have to carry all the insurance on the jockies and horses, be bonded and so on son..so that cost is then passed down to the owners...they cant afford it unless they keep a whole barn going. The ones I rode with liked to keep max 6 hd at a time. Now if you dont have more than that you cant pay the help and feed yourself.
But, you still get to reak the benefit with it being your boy the sire...you get to celebrate along side of them....soo keep whooping it up.
